The ‘Federal Skilled Trades Program’ is a golden chance for the candidates seeking to migrate to Canada on the grounds of working there. There are 4 main factors that can favor the candidate and these factors accounts for “pass/fail” for the candidates:

This program is an ideal choice for the ones considering resettling in Canada and having prior Canadian work experience in NOC skill level 0, A or B. It is a very popular platform for foreign workers and international graduates to get Canadian PR because of its ease and faster processing. The candidates under this pathway also get more score under CRS of express entry. The candidate who wishes to apply under CEC must have a 1 year (12 month) within 36 months of application date that is 1560 hours of skilled work in Canada within three years of applying under this category, which can be obtained through full-time/ part-time work in Skill Type 0 or Level A or Level B (Trade nature can be managerial, professional, technical or skilled) approved by NOC. One can meet this in a few different ways:

• full-time at 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full-time (1,560 hours).
• equal amount in part-time work: for example, 15 hours/week for 24 months = 1-year full time (1,560 hours).
• One can work as many part-time jobs as you need to meet this requirement.
• full-time work at more than 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months at more than 1 job = 1-year full time (1,560 hours).

The Canadian work experience of 1 year must be gained by the candidate in last 3 years and he must be clear of any criminal charges from the country’s judicial system. He must also attain a medical report and must have secured the eligible test bands in English language test in all 4 sections or French, the candidate must plan to live outside the province of Quebec. The work experience gained as self-employed, student work experience and co-op is not considered for CEC. There is no education requirement for the Canadian Experience Class. However, one can improve the rank in the express entry pool if one can prove their educational qualification in Canada and /or foreign nation (provided that one has an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report for immigration purposes from a designated organization showing that your education is equal to a completed certificate, diploma or degree from a Canadian institute.

These programs are formed to support various provinces of Canada in promoting their immigration policies that are highly beneficial to their diverse labour markets for booming their economy. Its two tier system offers work to skilled workers through their immigration program corresponding to diverse federal and provincial levels. Eligibility criteria:

• The candidate needs 1 year of continuous work experience (at least 1,560 hours) in the past 3 years (exemption due to Covid-19 pandemic-in which the candidate is now exempt from the requirement to accumulate work experience over a continuous period). Or,
• The candidate must be a graduate from a public funded institution situated in one of the recommended communities.
• Other scenario can be for the students, which accounts that the international students do not require work experience if they have a minimum 2 year of post-secondary degree from an institution in a recommending community or anywhere in the country for 2 or more years. The applicant must have earned the credentials in previous 18 months since the date of application or have been studying in the community for 16 to 24 months to earn the credentials. He must have a graduate or have higher degree.
• The candidate must comply with the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) orNiveaux de compétencelinguistiquecanadien(NCLC) for English and French respectively in terms of national occupational classification provided for the job.
• For the educational requirements, the candidatemust have done a school diploma in institution in Canada or an equivalent foreign credential.
• He must have surplus money to accommodate and settle himself as well as his family in the residing community even if his family members reside in their home country.
• The candidate must have an intend to live in the community.

As soon as he gets the job letter can apply and if the community recommendation approved, he can apply for PR in Canada.

To fulfill the shortage of labour in agricultural field or food industry, this program intends to provide pathway to permanent residence for the non-seasonal workers in various agricultural related occupations and industries. The candidates can apply with year-round mushroom, meat processing, livestock raising and production of greenhouse crop, livestock raising; being the most favorable options for applying. The candidate must have a work experience in Canada for fulfilling eligibility criteria by the government and must possess the job letter by his Canadian employer. The seats are limited and the candidate must qualify for them after a round of application submission which demands 12 months non-seasonal, full-timework experience in Canada in 1 or more of the eligible occupations listed under 1 of the eligible industries and this Canadian work experience must be in the Temporary Foreign Worker Program in which a minimum of 12-month duration must have been submitted by your employer when hiring you.

The candidates must possess level 4 in English or French in the CLB for all 4 sections i.e. speaking, reading, writing and listening.

The candidate could be eligible if he has a higher school degree or an equivalent Canadian qualification.Besides, a job offer is required under the minimum settlement funds required to support himself and family in Canada if not working there currently. This pilot programwill run until May 2023.
