Study Visa
The candidates who wish to pursue their higher studies (Diploma, Bachelors or Masters) in some designated institution of learning in Canada requiremeeting the eligibility criteria to apply for studying in Canada.
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must get a letter of acceptance from the designated learning institution in Canada.
- The candidate needs to provide a proof of financial support to ascertain sufficient funds for the first year of tuition besides the living expenses and the funds for returning to the home country.
- He compulsorily needs to get a Certificate of Acceptance of Quebec (CAQ) if he desires to study in any location in Quebec.
- He must be clear of any criminal charges.
- He must maintain good health and must provide a medical test report.
- He must be capable of convincing the Immigration officer that he would certainly leave the country upon the end of his study permit.
Additional documents that may be required
- He must have a valid Passport. If he has included any of his family members’ names on the application form, their valid passport is also required.
- Candidate's two passport sized photos and for the family members whose name is mentioned on the application form is required. There must be signatures of the candidate and his nominees besides their full name and date of birth written on backside of the photo.
- A copy of the marriage certificate, if the candidate is married.
- Additional documents for visa application as demanded by the officer.
Application Process
- Select a program in which you wish to study in Canada.
- Submit your application to apply to the selected Canadian designated learning institution.
- The candidates who get their letter of acceptance need to submit an application for a study permit to the Government of Canada.
- After a successful acceptance of the application, there are multiple options for working in Canada besides studying and applying for a Permanent Residence in Canada.
