Study Visa

This program was earlier known as ‘Students Partners Program’ and was launched in 2018 that is a golden opportunity for the candidates to apply faster for Canadian Study permits. The objective of this program is to intensify the economic and cultural, social benefits for the country that the international students bring along with them. There is some liberty for the application process currently due to the prevailing Covid-19 situations but there are some eligibility criteria that certainly need to be met. The students who are currently living in one of these countries and must be eligible for the expedited visa process through SDS can apply for the study permit.

India, Pakistan, China, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Costa Rica, Vietnam, Antigua and Barbuda, Morocco, Trinidad and Tobago, the Philippines, Senegal, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. In case, a candidate is not eligible for this visa, he needs to apply for a regular student permit application.

Eligibility criteria

  • Proficiency in English or French
  • Secured funds of $10,000 CAD available for accessing as soon as the candidate begins his course in Canada.

Additional documents required

  • Acceptance letter from your post secondary designated learning institution in Canada.
  • Proof of tuition fee payment for the first year of the course.
  • Guaranteed Investment Certificate ( GIC) of CAD $10,000.
  • Certificate of Acceptance of Quebec (CAQ) if the candidate wishes to study in Quebec.
  • Reports of medical tests (not mandatory but must be presented if demanded).
  • Copy of a police certificate (not mandatory but must be presented if demanded).
  • Transcript of candidate's recently attended secondary or post secondary school.
  • Minimum IELTS band 6 in every section- Listening, Writing, Reading and Speaking.
  • French language test or CLB score of minimum 7 in each skill.
